How to apply and what we expect
We have a bursary of up to £500 that we will award each year. We offer this to student/s undertaking research into higher education libraries and disabilities.
The award can be spent on costs incurred while undertaking the research such as travel undertaken for data collection purposes, postage for sending out surveys, incentives for participation and subsistence costs while staying away from home.
In exchange for this award we ask that a copy of the completed research is deposited with us and made available via our website to our members. We also ask the researcher to attend one of our study days and present on their research to members.
If you are interested in applying for a bursary please complete the application form (Word 29 KB) with your details and an outline of your research proposal and send to the acting Chair of CLAUD, Jane Reynolds via email: Jane.Reynolds@bristol.ac.uk
Applications will be considered at the next committee meeting following the submission date.
Please note: Committee members are eligible to apply for the bursary but while their application is discussed they may be asked to leave the meeting.
